The Barbie Girl Fever
The new movie Barbie is yet to hit the cinema, but it's fever is all over the socials. The fashion enthusiast has been playing with colors, adorning their body in different shades of pink. Language, national ethnicity, age, body-shapes, religion is no stopping anyone to represent and display their creativity on all new media. The question is, does every woman secretly desires to be Barbie the doll? One admire and love by all? Perfect body shape and body size that cuts across all beauty standards? That one has no problem other than evil CEO
Now, let's come to the real world! The Barbie girl for life dream! Oh my! That's the new. Perfect body shape, nose, lips, the curvier the better (and here I am thinking feminism has to do with embracing beauty beyond the appearance) I guess it's not.
Everyone has that one influencer that is the goal. Whether body goals, or vacationing, or fitness, or class, the luxurious lifestyle is way too enticing! Have you ever ask yourself the question how can they afford this? Been in the spotlight does come with its own specs but don't you think it also comes with its own problems.
In as much as I don't believe in conspiracy theory, haven't you ever wonder why somethings is in vogue and some is no longer in fashion? What I do believe in is the 80-20% rule of the new caste system but I guess for this generation it might be 90-10% rule of the new world order. The 10 percenters are the ones who controls the 90 percenters (i.e there are some individuals that controls the world population). They are the ones that set the trends, it is what is manufactured that the consumers must consume. They control everything, including what and whatnot to eat, they are charge of media, be it social or traditional, what they want you to see is what you'll see......(sounds to conspiracy, I know. Sincerely think about it)
Explaining the 90-10% rule is a bit complicated also for me, but how much do you want to be controlled by the gimmicks of "TRENDS". Who is dictating what is acceptable, especially now when the moral compass is broken and it all about "being happy". "do you babe" "kill them with cuteness" too hot to handle blah blah blah......
Before BBL what does a woman do if she feels not as beautiful? Let me mention a few, they hit the gym, diet if necessary or embrace the imperfections and focus on what matters.
There's a life outside social media, live it! Don't forget you're the only one who can determine how much you want to be controlled!
Are you Barbie girl or you're just catching the fever? It's quite infectious, stay protected, stay strong, stay feminine...
